Working Session Hosted by the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Held within the Framework of the Ambassadors’ Conference

On 23 December 2025, within the framework of the Ambassadors’ Conference, a working session was held at the Parliament of Georgia, hosted by the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili.

The working session was opened by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, who emphasized the important role of parliamentary diplomacy in the effective implementation of the country’s foreign policy.

The Chairman of the Parliament expressed his appreciation to the heads of Georgia’s diplomatic representations for their support in facilitating bilateral visits within the framework of parliamentary diplomacy and for the assistance provided to parliamentary delegations on international platforms.

The meeting also addressed Georgia’s participation in international parliamentary assemblies.

Particular attention was devoted to strengthening ties between parliamentary friendship groups as an effective instrument for the further development of relations between countries.

The session was also attended by the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, Nikoloz Samkharadze.
