On 24 December 2025, within the framework of the Ambassadors’ Conference, a working session entitled “Trade, Investment, and Sustainable Development in the Context of Global Challenges” was convened.
The session was opened by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, and brought together the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili; the Minister of Finance, Lasha Khutsishvili; the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Davit Songulashvili; the Minister of Infrastructure, Revaz Sokhadze; the Minister of Regional Development, Kakhaber Guledani; and the President of the National Bank of Georgia, Natia Turnava. The discussion was moderated by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili.
Participants discussed Georgia’s strong economic performance and reviewed a wide range of significant reforms and ongoing projects implemented by their respective institutions. These included initiatives in the areas of foreign trade, market expansion and diversification, investment attraction, the strengthening of macroeconomic policy and fiscal stability, environmental protection, road infrastructure and regional development.
Within the framework of the working session, particular emphasis was placed on the need to fully utilize Georgia’s transport and logistics potential. In this context, special attention was devoted to the strategic importance of the “Middle Corridor.”
The Ambassadors’ Conference 2025 has been underway for its third day and will conclude on 25 December.
